Rambo 5: Sylvester Stallone Willing to “Keep Going” After Last Blood
While initial reports indicated that the upcoming Rambo: Last Blood would be series star Sylvester Stallone’s final appearance as the titular action hero, the actor is open to returning to the iconic role.
While promoting the film at its premiere at Cannes Film Festival, Stallone observed that, despite the title, the eagerly anticipated sequel may not be the final film in the franchise, nor his final turn as the ex-Green Beret. Stallone pointed to his own enduring legacy with the Rocky franchise extending beyond his initial vision to suggest Rambo may continue to have a cinematic future.
“Let me just say something about the ‘last’ of anything. I thought Rocky III was the last, you know. So I don’t know anything,” admitted Stallone while speaking on a panel about the film at Cannes. “If it works, I’ll just keep going, you know, because I enjoy it so much.”Rambo 5 Free Streaming
Following 1982's Rocky III, there were five additional films in the series, including the two Creed spinoffs. After wrapping principal photography on Last Blood this past December, Stallone indicated he may be done with the role. How ever, the actor’s new comments seem to indicate that there may be more adventures starring the Vietnam War veteran down the road.
